Fenway Bark

One of my favorite events of the year is the Fenway Futures game at Fenway park. Yes, it's nice because you can get into Fenway for a reasonable ticket price to watch the AAA league players, and yes it's great that concessions are discounted too, and yes, it's particularly wonderful that because of that there are a ton of kids there and people don't seem to mind if your kid has an epic meltdown.

But the REAL reason I love the Fenway Futures game is because of the dogs. Yes, the dogs. For one day a year, they allow dogs into Fenway, at it is as amazing as it sounds. All dogs are restricted to the third base area and even with so many dogs in one place, they were amazingly well behaved, not to mention adorable.

For those of you who were unable to go, make sure you get a chance to go next year, so that you can see all of these adorable dogs:

I'm so sad I didn't get a good photo of this dog, but his name was Butters, and he had on a red sox bow tie. He also LOVED attention.

There was a whole area with dog samples and giveaways. Plus info on adopting dogs, which I almost did.

Three of the most well-behaved dogs I've ever seen. They were actually posing for their owner who was just to the left of this shot.

I'm telling you, there were dogs EVERYWHERE.
